Anita Carcone: It was during my childhood that my love affair with art began. I was particularly influenced by my Italian background, beautiful summers days spent in the countryside of Emiglia-Romagna, as well as my family's love for antiques and the skill of real craftsmen. My father gave me my first painting- a nude Victorian lady which to this day I adore and cherish- from that moment I was hooked and now feel my ultimate ambition is being fulfilled when I produce my type of modern abstract art.
